Humble Beginnings
At Anderson Guitar Tuition, we're proud to be a small, local business dedicated to helping people of all ages and abilities discover the joy of playing the guitar. What began as a local advert on SuperProf has grown into a full-time teaching practice built on a genuine passion for music and a commitment to high-quality, personalised tuition.
Founded by Damien Anderson, whose life has revolved around music for more than 20 years, our mission has always been simple: to help others experience the same enjoyment, confidence, and fulfilment that guitar playing has brought him.

Over two decades of playing and teaching have reinforced one important belief: great musicians are built on strong foundations.
While advanced techniques and impressive solos have their place, lasting progress comes from truly understanding the fundamentals.
At Anderson Guitar Tuition, we don't simply teach students to copy songs or memorise patterns. We focus on developing a solid grasp of music theory, fretboard knowledge, technique, and musical understanding.
By building these core skills first, our students gain the confidence and freedom to develop their own creativity, tackle more advanced concepts, and continue progressing long after each lesson ends.
